    • OBITUARY

James Thomas Hume, a most wonderful loving and caring son and brother, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010, in Oklahoma City. Jim was born June 20, 1958, in Oklahoma City, to parents Walter W. Hume, Jr., and Janet Kay (Stephenson) Hume. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1976 and earned his Associate's Degree from OSU. With his strong work ethic he did HVAC work. He had wanted to drive trucks since he was a child, so he did over- the-road trucking for a few years. All of his life he helped others. His friends, neighbors and family knew they could count on his abilities. He had fun playing the guitar and target shooting. He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister. He is survived by his mother; brother, Gerald "Jerry" Hume; aunts, Wanda Hume, Kathleen Kuper and Jacquie Stephenson; eight cousins; other relatives; and good friends, Jerry Brown and Tom Love. His sudden passing has created a deep loss that will never be recovered. Viewing will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Wednesday, 8am to 8pm. A funeral service will be 1pm, Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Memorial Park Chapel. Donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
