      Death of Mrs. Peters.

Mrs. Ann Peters, who has resided in Canton and Fulton county for the past fifty-two years, died at the home of her son-in-law, John Fast, in Banner township Sunday. The deceased was born in Patrick county, Va. March 20, 1826, and as Miss Ann Haynes came to Fulton county with her parents, first stopping a few years in Ohio, in 1840. Twelve years afterward she became the wife of E. C. Peters. The Mr. and Mrs. Peters were born three children, viz: J. M. now a resident of Canton, Susan, now deceased; and Eliza J. the wife of John Fast of Banner township. These two and an aged husband remain to mourn the death of Mrs. Peters.

Mrs. Peters was a kind and generous soul and well merits the grief shown by her many friends at her death. [1]
