Patrick Co. Deed Book 4 #442 - Sept. 9, 1817 - shows Joshua Haynes of Patrick County to Robert and Pleasant Haynes a certain track or parcel of land 316 acres on the head branch of Loving Creek a place called Wards Gap.
In 1820, Robert was listed as the head of household in Patrick Co., Va. He was between 16 and 26 years old and Fanny was also between 16 and 26 years old. There were no children listed.
Patrick Co. Deed Book 7 #336 - Sept. 22, 1829 - shows sale from Robert Haynes and Fanny his wife to a James W. Wauhop, land in Patrick and Grayson Co. at Loving Creek on Wards Gap Road.
Family found in Highland Co., Ohio in the 1830 census, page 85. Indicates there were: 1 male under 5, 1 male 30-40, 1 female under 5, 2 females 5-10 and 1 female 30-40. Next door to them was Robert's brother Pleasant.
Family was found in the 1840 census in Clinton Co., Ohio page 389. Indicates there were: 2 males under 5, 1 male 10-15, 1 male 40-50, 1 female under 5, 2 females 5-10, 1 female 15-20 and 1 female 30-40.
