      "...on the 15 Dec 1662, [Lubbert] applied to the Schout and schepens of Flatbush for a building plot on the west side of the village and on the south side of the main road, as per Liber B, folio 114 of Flatbush records. Later he purchased, on 20 Aug 1670, from Jan Miserol, a house at 'Rustenburch,' the local name of the southerly side of Flatbush, as per Liber A, folio 10, of Flatbush records. In Oct 1673, he sold his farm lands obtained in 1662, to Cornelis Janse De Seen, for the sum of 4000 guildens..."
